To drastically reduce the measurement time while improving the convenience and the characterization of the lenses, our ophthalmic team has developed NIMO TEMPO, the latest revolution of the NIMO family!

The full acquisition and processing for a multifocal toric lens only takes up to 20 seconds: less than 3 seconds for data acquisition, then 17 seconds for processing. During the processing phase, the lens can already be taken out of the instrument and replaced by the next one. This translates into debottlenecking the production line and helps generate substantial additional income.

The instrument does not require any dedicated optical table. Thanks to its high stability, NIMO TEMPO can be installed on a simple tabletop without impairing the measurements. This convenience also gives comfort to the operator who conveniently sits in front of the instrument.
By using the dedicated wet cell injector, NIMO TEMPO autonomously positions the lens and runs the data acquisition of data without any specific alignment required. Through sophisticated algorithms, the TEMPO-MENTOR software detects the optical center of the lens. It aligns the measurement aperture of this center before processing calibration, storing all acquired data and providing comprehensive measurement results.

NIMO TEMPO offers the most comprehensive characterization of diffractive IOLs: from the automatic detection of toric marks to the visualization of the diffractive steps. The instrument provides superior accuracy (better than 0.3 % of measured power) for power, cylinder, additions and MTF for all types of lenses.
After the definition of the conformity criteria by the QA team, the user interface of TEMPO-MENTOR provides a simple Pass/Fail presentation to the production technicians, accelerating the process by offering a user-independent diagnostic.
