Account Manager
Your role
To consolidate our growth, we are looking for an Account Manager to manage and nurture existing client relationships, drive new business opportunities through prospection, and enhance customer engagement through digital marketing initiatives.
Key Responsibilities
- Account Manager with a focus on smaller accounts
- Maintain and develop relationships with existing clients. Act as the main point of contact, addressing inquiries, drafting quotations, resolving issues, and providing product information.
- Mail, call, meet customers at trade shows and at our places. Invite and organise visits to LXO.
- New Business Development
- Identify and target potential new clients.
- Reach out to potential clients through calls, emails, and networking events to introduce LXO company and products.
- Prepare and deliver presentations to prospective clients, showcasing the value and benefits of our inspection solutions.
- Digital marketing and Customer Engagement
- Collaborate with marketing free-lances to develop and execute digital marketing campaigns aimed at increasing brand awareness and lead generation.
- Lead creation of marketing materials, including brochures, case studies, and product videos.
- Market and product feedback. Training and Development
- Gather and report customer feedback to product owners
- Attend relevant training sessions and industry conferences to stay informed about industry developments, competitor activities, and technological advancements that may impact the business.
Your profile
- Commercial Engineer
- Fluency in French and English
- 2 – 5 years’ experience: sufficient knowledge of the sales profession, with a strong desire to develop skills and experience
- Motivated to visit customers and prospects, mainly SME. Willing to travel worldwide (10 to 12 trips per year).
- Excellent communications skills
- Commercial discussions (prospection, negotiation support)
- Animation of customers network (Videos, Newsletters, Posts)
- Hands-on, curious, willing to come on top of ophthalmics lenses inspection: customer’s needs and constraints, our proposed solutions – their unique benefits and features
- Good dose of strategic reflection and analysis. Ability to define and exploit tactics
- Living in Belgium. Home working regime typically 2 days per week

Application Engineer
Your role
- Customer Experience Enhancement:
- Gather feedback from customers and internal teams to continuously improve the user experience and the instruments.
- Put yourself in the customer’s shoes to thoroughly understand the challenges they face when setting up and using our instruments and software.
- Development of Support Materials:
- Draft clear and concise startup guides, user manuals, and troubleshooting documents that simplify the setup and operation of our instruments.
- Create and manage video training content that provides step-by-step instructions for key processes and features.
- Identify gaps in existing documentation and support materials, such as user manuals, startup guides, and FAQs in collaboration with the Support team.
- Develop and maintain Q&A sections, troubleshooting guides, and video tutorials of our online support platform. Monitor the platform for common issues and feedback, using this information to further refine support materials.
- Product Testing and Feedback:
- Regularly test our instruments and software from a user perspective to identify potential issues before they reach customers.
- Provide detailed feedback to the product development team, highlighting areas where the user experience can be improved.
- Work closely with the R&D team to understand product updates and translate them into user-friendly instructions and guides.
- Sales Support:
- Assist the sales team in product demonstrations, ensuring that potential customers understand the full capabilities of our instruments.
- Provide technical support during sales meetings and answer detailed product-related questions.
- Realise tests in front of clients to demonstrate the instruments and software performance
- Help develop sales materials that effectively communicate the technical benefits of our solutions in a user-friendly manner.
Your profile
- You have a Bachelor or Master in Electronics, IT, Software or any related field in the sector
- You are looking for your first experience or you have a maximum 5 years of experience.
- You’re fluent in English and French in writing and speaking. Knowledge of any other language is an asset.
- You have a first technical background (hardware, software, metrology, optics or other knowledge related to the company’s sector).
- You’re a problem solver, detail-oriented and customer-focused
- You’re hands-on, curious. You have a good dose of strategic reflection and analysis.
- You have solid communications skills
- You’re willing to travel worldwide (around once every 2 months).
