Experienced System Engineer
Your challenges
- Under the supervision of experienced Project Managers, you work as a team member and you manage the technical development of multiple industrial projects (aerospace, microscopy, …).
- In the frame of multidisciplinary projects, you build up systems architectures including interfaces definition. You ensure that the selected components form a system that performs as expected in the targeted environment and cost budget.
- You review the specifications, define the design, drive the optical design, select opto-electronic components, integrate thermal and structural aspects in the solutions, and make the link with mechanical, electronic and software engineers.
- You develop tests and verification set-ups based on dedicated custom-built instruments or based on standard laboratory equipment.
- You are in relation with suppliers for technical specifications and look for practical production means for the selected concepts.

Quality Assurance Manager
Your challenges
- Your ensure that the organization’s Quality Management System conforms to customer, internal, ISO 9001, EN9100 and regulatory/legal requirements.
- You work in close collaboration with the management, report the performances of the QMS (e.g. results of quality audits, corrective actions) and including the need for improvements.
- You support the development and maintenance of Quality System metrics such as complaints, production and process controls, trainings, purchasing, design controls, audits, corrective actions…
- You manage follow up on action plans resulting from audits, non-conformities, risk analyses, process reviews, …
- You lead ISO 9001 and EN 9100 certifications.

Human Resources Manager
Your challenges
In close collaboration with the CEO and the company’s management team, you translate Lambda-X’s vision into a long-term HR strategy, you ensure its implementation and its day-to-day operations within the company taking into account its ISO 9100 certification.
Thanks to the constant growth of the company, your role as HR Manager evolves and includes:
- You are the primary contact for all Lambda-X employees (ca. 50 people) regarding HR topics.
- You take the full responsibility of the people administration (definition and monitoring of the budget, development of employment contracts, job descriptions, maintenance of legal documents, payroll, …) with the support of the external payroll agent.

Project Manager – optical instrumentation
Your challenges
- Under the supervision of the CTO’s and as team member of the R&D Team, you take the responsibility of R&D projects aiming the development of new equipment or the improvement of existing ones. The projects to be run apply to the Medical & Life Sciences (microscopy, tomography, …) sectors of activity.
- You define and manage the project management roadmap, you lead the project team members (System Eng. , Software Eng., …), assure the completion of the different steps (from specs definitions till prototyping) in line with the requested planning, budget, quality standards, regulations, … and manage all the documentations and reporting.
- You are in close contact with customers and organize follow-up meetings to present results and status of the project.

Electronics Engineer & Team Coordinator
Your challenges

As an Electronics Engineer, you are responsible for the electronic developments supporting custom optical systems developments for various industrial markets. This includes analog and digital electronics developments as well as embedded firmware developments.

Under the supervision of the Chief technical Officer, you work in close collaboration with Project Managers, and support them with your team, from architectural concepts to small series production preparation.

You will support the Business Developers in selling the electronic capabilities of the company, which entails active communication with the customers

You will share your time between technical activities (~70%), team management and sales support activities.
Your job will consist of 3 main tasks:
Electronics Engineering (~70% of your time):
- Lead of hardware creation (key component definition, architectural design)
- Support firmware development (requirements, support & follow-up)

- Being part of the technical team during all phases of product development (detailed design, prototype bring-up, test & validation, certification…)
Electronics department management:

Your skills and experience
- You have a Master degree in Electronics Engineering.
- You have a few years of experience in both analog and digital electronics design.
